The Jones Scholars Program is a need-based program that meets uncovered need before loans over a six-year period. A Rotary Club of Houston committee selects the Jones Scholars based on academic achievement, economic need, leadership skills, community service and character.
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR THE JONES SCHOLARS PROGRAM
 
FIRST: MAKE SURE YOUR HIGH SCHOOL IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HOUSTON ENDOWMENT JONES SCHOLARS PROGRAM. Click here:  LIST OF ELIGIBLE HIGH SCHOOLS
 
SECOND: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION

1. Read:  2012 Student Application Instructions and FAFSA4caster EXAMPLE

2. Fill out the application:  2012 Student Application  (fillable PDF that can be saved)

3. Read:  New Guidelines  (includes requirements if selected)
 
THIRD: PRINT AND RETURN YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION TO YOUR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2012 (do not return your completed application to Houston Endowment).
