Our giving centers on Civic Engagement, PreK-12 Public Education, and Arts and Parks and is guided by our commitment to Learning and Evaluation.

In 2019, our Board approved a strategic framework that prioritizes deep commitments to Civic Engagement, PreK-12 Public Education, and Arts and Parks, as well as provides flexibility to address emerging opportunities and challenges when they arise and where we the Endowment can have a significant impact, such as homelessness. Our giving in Learning and Evaluation deepens our understanding of these areas and identifies what works.

It also displays grants toward opportunities for impact and grants approved prior to our current strategic framework, all of which are identified as “Other.” Funds are disbursed to identified organizations throughout the timeframe listed in the grant term.
