Ellen Battles

Ellen oversees office administration and vendor relationships for the foundation. She also manages the planning and execution of Houston Endowment events.

Ellen is well versed in the nonprofit world and joined Houston Endowment from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where she served as the Chief of Staff. Among the many responsibilities required of her there, Ellen managed two successful office relocations for the organization. Her experience and organizational skills were critical assets for Houston Endowment’s own move in fall 2022.

Ellen holds a degree in psychology from the University of Houston-Downtown.
