Erin M. Forssman
Erin leads the grants management team in ensuring that grants to community partners follow efficient, effective, and legally compliant processes. Her team aims for a seamless transition from grant applications to fund disbursement. She loves being a part of a mission-driven organization working to seek out problems and invest in lasting improvements.
Erin’s eclectic background defies the standard law degree path. She had the opportunity to study in Galway, Ireland under John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States. She spent a decade overseeing compliance and governance at the Houston Marathon Committee where she worked with internationally recognized professional athletes and hosted the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials.
Erin holds a law degree from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Richmond.
