Astrid Gomes

As Grants Manager, Astrid serves a key role in ensuring the Foundation’s due diligence and grant protocols are followed and is the primary administrator for Houston Endowment’s grants management system, GivingData. In previous positions with the Foundation, she provided invaluable support to the grants management and administrative teams.

She brings over five years of experience in management and event coordination. Prior to joining Houston Endowment, Astrid managed and ran the operations for a music studio in the Memorial area.

Astrid earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston-Downtown and received the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE) from the American Society of Administrative Professionals in 2021.
