Joseph C. Dilg
Joe Dilg retired in 2018 as a vice chairman of Greenhill & Co., Inc., an international, advisory-only investment banking firm, where he specialized in energy mergers and acquisitions and restructurings. Previously, Mr. Dilg practiced law with Vinson & Elkins for nearly 40 years and served as managing partner of the firm from 2002 to 2011. Mr. Dilg is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of St. John’s School in Houston and of the boards of directors of the Houston Zoo Development Corp. and the Houston Parks Board, and a member of the Executive Council of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business at The University of Texas. He has previously served as a board member and chair of the National Business Committee for the Arts, as a board member of the Houston Arts Alliance, and as a trustee of the Texas Law School Foundation. Mr. Dilg graduated from Southern Methodist University and received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, where he was an editor of the Texas Law Review.
