Kaylan Connally

Kaylan Connally leads work focused on postsecondary success and pathways to family-sustaining careers.

Connally brings experience in talent strategy and policy, spanning district leadership and national organizations, with a focus on strengthening talent pipelines and expanding pathways to economic mobility. She previously held district leadership roles in Houston ISD and Philadelphia and has contributed to national policy efforts through organizations such as the Council of Chief State School Officers and New America. In Houston, she advanced earn-while-you-learn educator pathways and expanded access to high-quality instruction for thousands of students.

A native Houstonian, Connally holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a master’s degree in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
