Melanie Trent

Melanie Trent is a retired senior executive who has worked extensively in the energy industry, both in oilfield services and power. Most recently, Trent served as executive vice president of Rowan Companies plc, a global offshore drilling contractor now part of Valaris plc.

She currently serves on the boards of directors of Diamondback Energy, Inc., Arcosa, Inc., and Hyliion, Inc.

Trent serves on the advisory council of YES Prep Public Schools and previously served on the board of New Hope Housing, Inc., the audit and compensation committees of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System, and the board and executive committee of Hermann Park Conservancy.

Trent received a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
