Melanie Edwards

Melanie Edwards is a retired senior executive who has worked extensively in the energy industry, both in oilfield services and power. Most recently, Ms. Edwards served as executive vice president of Rowan Companies plc, a global offshore drilling contractor (now part of Valaris plc). She currently serves on the boards of directors of Diamondback Energy, Inc., Arcosa, Inc. and Hyliion.  Ms. Edwards serves on the board of YES Prep Public Schools (and previously served as Chair), and co-chairs the Houston Chapter of Women Corporate Directors. She previously served on the board of New Hope Housing, Inc.; on the audit and compensation committees of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System; and on the board and executive committee of Hermann Park Conservancy. She received a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and a juris doctorate from Georgetown University.
