Robiel Abraha
Robiel collaborates with the civic engagement team to design learning and evaluation projects aimed at improving Houston Endowment’s strategies for increasing electoral participation and immigrant civic integration.
He brings over ten years of experience in research and evaluation to this role. Before joining Houston Endowment, Robiel led research and evaluation initiatives at the Texas Department of State Health Services, focusing on addressing COVID-19 health disparities. He also previously served as a Research and Evaluation Officer at the Episcopal Health Foundation and supported effective grantmaking strategies to improve the health of Texans within the Foundation’s service area.
Robiel holds a Master of Science in public health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.
