Rosa H. Ayala

Rosa is responsible for managing the day-to-day general accounting and finance operations for the foundation including investment, tax, grant management, real estate, and audit.

Her expertise has been honed though 20 years of accounting, finance, investment, and tax experience with private foundations and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Houston Endowment in 2008, Rosa fulfilled a full spectrum of financial and accounting activities at The Brown Foundation, Inc. She also served as the business manager for The Houston Festival Foundation, Inc. and was responsible for all financial and accounting functions as well as supervised all on-site activity at the festival related to finance and sales. She also assisted with financial information for grant applications.

Rosa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown.
