Upstream, our webinar series that kicked off in 2025, returns to explore how through the use of shared data, the arts sector can strengthen its overall impact across Greater Houston.

Panelists will discuss the Greater Houston Artist Survey,(opens in new window) which launched Monday, Feb. 2, and the insights gained from Houston’s seven cultural districts working hand-in-hand.

Leading the conversation will be Houston Endowment Program Director-Arts & Culture Bao-Long Chu and Evaluation Officer Sara Jones. They will be joined by:

  • Angela Carranza, Executive Director, Fresh Arts
  • Jennifer Benoit-Bryan, Executive Director, SMU Data Arts
  • Eepi Chaad, Program Manager, Mid-America Arts Alliance

Upstream airs Monday, Feb. 23. Sign up to hear artists, arts leaders,  researchers, and Houston Endowment staff discuss how shared data is critical to a thriving arts sector.
